How I got into financial coaching!

I got into coaching when I realized I had a natural talent for it. But first, there were lessons to learn. Years ago, my husband and I had big financial goals, and things seemed promising. He had an associate who offered an incredible opportunity to take over his business. This associate had no heirs to pass the business on to after retirement. They had built a strong 20-year relationship and had agreed on how everything would unfold. A good deal of time went into the details, lots of emails calls and plans for visits were in the works. Things got silent on the associate's end. After some time had passed, we learned how a former co-worker of my husband began spreading rumors, lies, and making threats to the new business partner (the associate). This left the partner feeling uneasy, and he ultimately withdrew his offer. Suddenly, we were left without a backup plan, and what we thought was our safety net had vanished.
